Mission of Shanky Studio is to raise the awareness about visual art, which helps the participants to channelize their energy in a constructive way and enhance aesthetic experience of the participants and audience. For this Shanky Studio, is conducting various activities under it’s CSR initiative.
Science 2010, Shanky Studio is organizing free visual art classes.
Many organizations, NGOs, art supply vendors and art supply manufacturers have appreciate corporate social responsibility initiative, and expressed their willingness to extend help to the free art class participants, especially the needy children, who are regularly participating in my free art class.
For this we have decided to accept the contribution, which can be of following types –
Donate Time
In these classes, if you are local, you might want to spare some time and teach art-n-craft activities to the children. Couple of Art College students and eminent art teacher are contributing their valuable time, on regular basis.
Distribute Art Supplies
You can distribute art supplies such as pencils, drawing copies, colors, coloring books and other goodies etc. to the needy participants. Some of the local art supply vendor including parents do extend help by supplying free art supplies to the participants. Even used or mutilated art supplies can be put to use in these Free Art class
Purchase Paintings Created By The Students
In order to encourage the little participants you may purchase the Art Work created by the participants, which has been posted in the following portfolio.
Distribute Prizes
Encourage participant by conducting drawing and painting competition, and distribute prizes.

बड़े हर्ष के साथ यह सूचित किया जाता है कि मुफ्त कलात्मक कक्षाओं का एक दशक शैंकी स्टूडियो (www.ShankyStudio.com) व महाजन सभा, सेक्टर 37, चंडीगढ़ के सहयोग से पूर्ण होने जा रहा है। जनवरी 2010 से महाजन भवन, आर्टिस्ट सुरेन्द्र शंकर के साथ मिलकर आर्ट की नि:शुल्क क्लासें चलाता आ रहा है।
शैंकी स्टूडियो का लक्ष्य हमेशा से रहा है कि प्रतिभागियों को विजुअल आर्ट के प्रति जागरूक करना व उनके कला के प्रति झुकाव को उत्साहित करना, जो की उनकी कलात्मक क्षमता को इस तरह से बढ़ाता है कि वह अपने अंदर के कलाकार को पहचान कर अपनी ऊर्जा को रचनात्मक तरीके से अपनी कला के माध्यम से आप सबके सामने ला सकें। इन विद्यार्थियों को फ़ाइन आर्ट्स की आधारभूत तकनीकें, आधुनिक आर्ट्स तकनीकें व सृजनात्मक कौशल प्रशिक्षित किए गए। इन क्लासों का मुख्य ध्येय लोगों की कला के प्रति जागरूकता जगाना और उनकी ऊर्जा को एक सकारात्मक दिशा देना है।
शैंकी स्टूडियो अपने सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी को निभाते हुए जो प्रयास कर रहा है वह इस प्रकार हैं –
- मुफ्त कला व शिल्प कक्षाओं को संयोजित करना जरूरतमंद छात्रों को मुफ्त कला शिक्षण सामग्री उपलब्ध करवाना
- विद्यालयों के जरूरतमंद छात्रों को कला शिक्षण सामग्री 25% छूट पर उपलब्ध करवाने की व्यवस्था करना
- जरूरतमंद, योग्य व गरीब छात्रों को किताबों व स्कूल फीस के लिए आर्थिक सहायता उपलब्ध करवाना
- अपसाइकिल और पर्यावरण संबधित शिल्पकारी का मुफ्त कला शिक्षण
शैंकी स्टूडियो द्वारा अर्जित की गई उपलब्धियां –
- लगभग 400 से भी ज्यादा मुफ्त कला प्रशिक्षण कक्षाएं संयोजित करना
- लगभग 1200 घंटे से भी ज्यादा कलात्मक शिक्षण का समय देना
- लगभग 425 से भी ज्यादा प्रतिभागियों को कला निपुण बनाना
- लगभग 350 से भी ज्यादा कलाकृतियां सृजन करना
यह हैरानी जनक है कि कई उत्कृष्ट कलाकृतियों का सृजन कलाकारों द्वारा पहले ही प्रयास में किया गया जो कि 5 से 75 वर्ष की आयु वर्ग के कलाकार हैं, इसके इलावा शैंकी स्टूडियो ने नवोदित कलाकारों के लिए एक मंच उपलब्ध करवाया है ताकि वह अपनी कला सार्वजनिक प्रदर्शनी के माध्यम से आम जन को दिखा सके, ऐसी कई प्रदर्शनियों में छात्रों ने न सिर्फ भाग लिया है बल्कि उन्हे अपनी कला कृतियों के अच्छे दाम भी मिले।
आर्ट्स के कुछ चित्रों को नमूने के तौर पर www.shankeronline.com पर भी पोस्ट किया गया है। ऐसा भी देखने में आया है कि कई बार किसी कलाकृति के पीछे की कहानी उस कलाकृति से भी ज्यादा रोचक हो जाती है।
